Dear Friends,
It is with great pleasure that we report the “The Change 1021″ reform slate swept the elections in SEIU Local 1021. Our “Change 1021″ candidates won all the Officer Positions, all the Committee Chairs and many of the contested County Area E-Board seats and Budget and Finance Committee seats. Of the 28 positions we vied for, we won 26.
We look forward to the hard, but rewarding work, of rebuilding and re-energizing our local. We look foward to working with the other candidates and supporters of the other slates. Working together we can fight layoffs, resist concessions and preserve important public and non-profit services for our communities. Together we can CHANGE 1021.
